TERRY PEYTON – Director/Teacher
Terry Peyton is a native Alexandrian. She began dance as a tot and earned a spot as a member of the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes. Her talents took her to Broadway to appear in West Side Story.
Terry’s credits include choreographing commercials and musicals. She has judged regional and national talent competitions, beauty pageants and auditions for the Redskinnets and many other football team cheerleading clubs.
Locally, she has coached and choreographed routines for Northern Fairfax County High School dance teams, cheerleaders, flag teams and marching bands. Terry has coached Northern Fairfax County High School football teams and has worked with their summer camp programs to condition the players.
Terry is a certified gymnastics instructor through the United States Gymnastics Safety Association.
Terry consistently receives top honors at regional and national competitions, including Top Teacher, Top Choreographer, Star Studio and Most Outstanding Overall.
JACK PEYTON – Director/Coach
Jack Peyton is also a native Alexandrian and certified gymnastics instructor through the United Stated Gymnastics Safety Association. He has coached gymnastics since 1974. Jack has judged for many regional and national competitions.
Jack’s students have won district, regional, and national honors consistently. Many have gone on to become coaches themselves. One of Jack’s former students is currently a coach for Mount Vernon High School.

SHALET PEYTON - Teacher
Shalet Peyton is the youngest daughter of Terry and Jack and of course, has danced her entire life.
Shalet’s past have taken her to Los Angeles, California, where she performed in commercials, videos, modeling and became a member of a five girl singing group named “Nothing But the Truth” which opened for Regina Bell.
She moved to Los Angeles at the age of 19 and received a full scholarship to Tremaine’s Dance Center. She trained with Margarite Derricks (choreographer for “Austin Powers”), Wade Robson (choreographer for Britney Spears and N-Sync), Carla and Melissa (choreographers for Prince). Shalet continued to work with Carla and Melissa after completing her scholarship
Shalet has earned many awards and honors The most resent was this past summer at the Star Systems National Dance Competition in Myrtle Beach. Shalet won The Top Teacher Award as well as Top Choreographer.

SORAYA FALLAH – Gymnastics Coach
Soraya was born in Iran and attended school in Tehran, Iran.
Soraya started doing gymnastics at the age of seven.
Soraya has been Head Coach of many top gymnastics clubs. She is also know for her expertise with preschool and elementary level children.
She has over 5 years experience working with the National Gymnastics Team and over 19 years experience coaching gymnastics

Julie Ackerman - Dance Teacher
Julie Ackerman has been studying dance for 28 years and teaching for 13 years. Her competitive career began in 1989 in New York City. Since then her amateur and professional performance career has taken her across the nation and around the world having performed on stages in over 30 countries and 80 cities internationally. She has performed on National Television here in the United States, as well as International broadcasts from Italy, The Netherlands and Germany. She performed live, in 1996, before 80,000 people in Milan, Italy for the 1996 All Star All Celebrity Soccer Match, as well as a performance before Pope John Paul II and an audience of 15,000 at the Vatican in St. Peter’s Square. Julie participated at the first-ever live performance by a Western performance company at the University of Ankara, in Ankara, Turkey.
Julie has studied under such artists as Mia Michaels, Many Moore, Wade Robson, Paula Abdul, Rosie Perez, Jennifer Lopez and Savion Glover, to name a few. She has studied at renowned schools across the nation including Broadway Dance Center and STEPS on Broadway, both in New York City, as well as Edge Performing Arts Center and Millennium Dance Complex, both located on Los Angeles.
Julie began studying dance at Terry’s School of Dance and Gymnastics in 1988 at the age of 12. She began teaching at Terry’s, as a student assistant to Terry at the age of 14. Julie is a certified dance instructor with such accredited programs as Dance Educators of America and Dance Masters of America and is a certified member of both organizations.

LINDA FISHER – Gymnastics Coach Linda is a native of Alexandria, Virginia and graduated from Mount Vernon High School where she competed with the gymnastics team. She also graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia with a degree in Accounting. Linda started taking classes with Terry’s School of Dance and Gymnastics at the age of 7 and competed with Jack’s gym team from age 12 thru 18. She started assisting Jack at the age of 15. Linda is also a part-time coach at Mount Vernon High School. Her gym team has won National District Championships and Linda herself has won “Women in Sports Coach of the Year”.

| Chelsea J. Shea - Dance Teacher
Chelsea Shea received her MDE in Multicultural Dance Education fro Lesely University, MA in 2008 and her B.F.A. in Dance Performance from Jacksonville University, FL in 2006. Ms. Shea has traveled and danced professionally in Canada, China and the Philippines. Chelsea’s recent endeavor was the conceptualization and start of her NGO in Tacloban City, Philippines called International Dance Exchange as well as the Bliss Dance Conservatory in 2007. IDE works with American colleges and Universities on an individual basis so that dancers may study abroad and receive college credit that will go directly to their graduation requirements. International Dance Exchange also works with local dance studios, schools, conservatories and individuals who have a desire to travel alone or as a group to learn, teach and perform dance in another geographical setting. The Bliss Dance conservatory provides free dance training to the children of the Bliss community in Tacloban City. These children are offered state of the art training and Ms. Shea’s desires to start a dance company that will show the country and the outside world what these children can overcome through the art of dance. Chelsea Shea’s future plans are to pursue her doctorate degree in dance and teach as a college dance professor

Lacie Wayland - Dance Teacher
| Lacie Wayland has studied dance and gymnastics with Joe Termaine, Bob Woodard, Keli Wayland Lesker, Wade Robinson, Mandy Moore, Edward Kouzmitch, Preston Li, Nancy Paradise, Luzia Weimuller, and Josh Johnson.
Lacie’s dance experience includes dancing as a pilot dancer for “So You Think You Can Dance” as well as a dancer in the opening ceremonies at the Special Olympics of Southern California at UCLA. Lacie also danced in the “Choreographers Showcase” at the Debby Reynolds Studio.
Lacie has been the 2002 Miss Starpower National’s winner and well as the 2002 Miss Hall of Fame Dance Inductee Winner. She has also received Top Choreography and Entertainment Awards for the West Coast Elite Dance Competition since 1999.
Other abilities include fencing, stage fighting, cheerleading, musical theater and acting.

| Mr. D'Juan Dinzey- Teacher, Choreographer
Story, the original touring company of FAME, the musical and Makin? It An Urban Love Story. D'Juan also worked as a feature dancer in national and international tours for such artists as C & C Music Factory, Crystal Waters, Jomanda and Toni Braxton. He also appeared in music videos, television, and commercials. For the past 15 years, D?Juan has served as Ballet Master, Choreographer, Rehearsal Director, and Artistic Consultant for several schools and dance companies in the NY-NJ tri-state areas as well as teaching various dance forms and choreographing for award winning competition teams. Some of the students that Mr. Dinzey has had the privilege of teaching and training at the beginning of their illustrious careers are Michelle Wiles, a principal dancer with ABT, Rasta Thomas, an international ballet medal winner, soloist and director of his own contemporary dance company in NY, and Melissa Hough, a soloist with Boston Ballet .

| Justin Bellamy: Teacher
Born in Washington, DC. JUSTIN BELLAMY began dancing at a very young age, in conjunction with his early training as a gymnast. In 2003, he received a scholarship to dance at the Ohio State University-Columbus where he studied intensively in classical ballet, modern, and African techniques. He has performed works by notable choreographers, including Robert Moses, Bebe Miller, and Larry Keigwin. To supplement his university studies, he taught on faculty at BalletMet Columbus. He has trained on scholarship with Alonzo King's LINES Ballet in San Francisco, CA, and also in France where he performed works by Christopher Huggins. In 2006, he was handpicked by choreographer Gil Duldulao, and invited to audition for Janet Jackson.
