Coach Linda Fisher,
Linda is known throughout the region for her approach to teaching young athletes the foundational aspects of swingin', flippin' and twirlin' all around the gymnasium. Voted by Expertise.com as one of Washington, DC's Top Ten Gymnastics Coaches, parents from the region love how Linda instills confidence and poise in their children.
A native of Alexandria, Linda is a great example of how hard work and dedication has it's rewards -- she is one of TSD's most notable graduates -- having started taking classes at TSD at the age of seven, Linda competed with Jack's gymnastics team from ages 12 through 18. Linda began her coaching career at age 15 assisting with Jack's team.
While studying at TSD, Linda attended the historic Mount Vernon High School where she competed with the gymnastics team, proudly banking titles and trophies to the school's long and renowned gymnastics legacy.
Linda matriculated George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia -- graduating with a degree in accounting. Linda has returned to her alma mater as a gymnastics coach - continuing her own personal journey with the Mount Vernon Majors, racking up titles as National District Champions an received the coveted "Women in Sports Coach of the Year" award.
